Sunset Palm House

... Only 800 FEET to SIESTA KEY BEACH

A wonderful home on Siesta Key

First, the basics that travelers value most—the Sunset Palm house smells nice, is spotlessly clean, has very comfortable beds and bright and shiny bathrooms with good showers and fluffy towels. The house is as described in the listing--well laid out with plenty of space for conversing (indoors and out), cooking and dining--we were two couples staying and we easily entertained 6 to 8 people for drinks and dinner. All appliances are modern and well maintained—including the marvelous antique gas range (we wanted to take it home). We used the washer and dryer daily—a great advantage. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, on a street with little traffic. After the first day or so we stopped driving to Siesta Key village—it is an easy, pleasant walk to the grocery, shops, gelato, drinks and fun. And, the beach is very close by, uncrowded and beautiful. We timed it at an easy 8 minute walk, aided by the handy cart to carry chairs, umbrella and drinks. The sunsets over the Gulf are gorgeous. Ken is an excellent, responsive owner—from getting started with the booking to closing out at the end of the rental. All in all, this property is a gem and Siesta Key is as wonderful as advertised. We had a great stay and highly recommend the Palm Island house.

Location - Perfect!

Home is easy walking distance to the beach and to Siesta Village for restaurants and shopping; no need to worry about public parking. Quiet neighborhood. Home is extremely neat and clean, well-organized for all your needs. Just bring your own personal items; everything you need is there from the kitchen to a TV in every room and washer/dryer. Very Comfortable bedrooms. Even beach chairs & towels were provided! There was extra parking for our visiting guests and an outdoor patio area for evening dinners. Home was adorably decorated, very clean and well kept. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Owner responsive to all our questions and answered promptly – extremely friendly and nice. They made us feel like family. We would definitely stay here every time we visit Sarasota. Thank you Sunset Palm House!

Wow. An excellent house. Location was perfect. Layout of the house met all our needs. Furnishings were comfortable more then enough. Everything looked new. The owners designed the house with future renters comfort in mind. We would recommend a cart to haul things to the beach. Otherwise the only negative was that we only spent two weeks there.

Great place to stay!

This was a beautiful house. Really clean, spacious, updated, and well maintained. It is located on a quiet little street, really close to the beach. We could easily walk into town and there were so many cute shops and great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
